The Boat
Designed in 1954 by Uffa Fox, the Albacore is a classic sailing dinghy. Responsive and nimble in all conditions, the boat planes above 10 knots wind speed. The vessel accommodates two adult sailors comfortably and suits both learners and competitive racers.
Over 8,200 have sold worldwide with active fleets across Canada, the US, and the UK.

The CAA publishes Shackles & Cringles quarterly, featuring information about the albacore class, including event info, racing results, and rigging and trimming tips.
